Destemida Filmes Logo

For an audiovisual landscape where we are socially equal, humanly different and entirely authentic.

Group of people standing in a circle. In the center, they all extend their hands over each other, stacking them in a sign of unity. The hands are of different skin tones, representing diversity. The sleeves of their clothes are colorful—there are shades of red, yellow, orange, brown, and blue. The gesture conveys a feeling of welcome, solidarity, and teamwork. The ground is dirt, suggesting they are outdoors.

About Destemida

Destemida was founded in 2024, born from the desire of its founder, creative producer and screenwriter Julliana Soares, to build a more affective and welcoming audiovisual industry—both in front of and, above all, behind the cameras.

We believe the future is indeed female and a transformative power. Feminine narratives—created by women, about women, and for women—are where we choose to stand. The existence and resistance of the feminine within a patriarchal society is, in itself, a revolutionary act.

We are challengers because we seek innovation in the way stories are told and produced.

We are provocateurs because we want to spark conversations that help improve the world around us.

We are restless because we believe communication and dialogue are tools for transformation.

We are fearless because we know exactly what we want to say—and where we want to go.
